This coming Friday July 31st is the only night that we will be racing under a full moon. Lets not forget how this whole stock car racing madness started. It was who could make it to the drop point, unload the cases and back.
The next NYSS race is the “Dave London Memorial Race” – this is a perfect time to test and tune your car for that great event.

At Spencer Speedway the payout is based on car count, SO WE NEED TO GET THE HIGHEST TIER!!!! Make some calls SHARE THIS EVENT. The goal is 18-20 cars. WE NEED AT LEAST 16. I will list both payouts.
1st place $500.00 plus $200 bonus [$700 total to win]
First amount is 15 cars starting the feature or less / Second is 16+ cars starting the feature
2nd $350 / $450 [includes $100 Bonus]
3rd $200 / $300 [includes $50 Bonus]
4th $175 / $200 [includes $50 Bonus]
5th $150 / $175 [includes $50 Bonus]
6th $150 [includes $50 Bonus]
7th $150 [includes $50 Bonus]
8th $150 [includes $50 Bonus]
9th $150 [includes $50 Bonus]
10th – 24th $100 [no start & parks]
WHERE ELSE CAN YOU RACE FOR THIS KIND OF MONEY ON A $100 SET OF TIRES THAT WILL LAST YOU AT LEAST THREE RACES??? No NASCAR License needed. No Car registration Fee.

Practice 6-7pm
Heats starting @ 7:30pm
Features to follow
- 2015 NYSS Rules only
- Draw to start, top 5 qualify, top 3 redraw for feature
- Double File Restarts - heat & feature
- 154.600 One way channel
- Top five cars to the scales [heats & Feature]
- NO Tire soaking
- Tires will be durometered before the race [line up area]
- Top 5 after the checkered flag – go directly to turn 3/4 pit entrance, & on to pit road for hot durometer reading – You Must stay on the pavement [if you do not do this immediately, or stop, you will disqualified, no questions asked, we won’t even check your tires]
- Top 3 finishers be prepared to leave two tires for further inspection
- All cars MUST paint or mark your rear wheels – a 1” x 3” stripe/arrow – We are checking for locker rear ends – These lines need to match & will be checked in post tech – If you do not mark them you will be disqualified [do not use tape!]
- Last but no least is the “NOE” rule is in effect. Problems need to be handled in a professional manner. If any one yells or screams at a Spencer or NYSS official you will be asked to leave and not come back. No prize money will be paid [Driver is responsible for their crew]. Do not go into another pit area if there problem. Do not hit a car under caution.
