  Today's entries include Steve Park, Mooresville NC in the Recycle America Waste Management Chevrolet; Derek Ranstrom, West Boylston MA in the VanDyke Baler-Bollegeaaf Chevy; Jonathan Smith, Beaver Falls CT in the Mike Olsen racing team Chevy sponsored by Fadden Racing; Archie Rardiff, Orchard Beach ME in the Best Way Disposal Chevy.

  Current top ten drivers are Ryan Truex, Eddie MacDonald, Jody Lavender, Matt Kobyluck, Brett Moffitt, Steve Park, Dustin Delaney, Alan Tardiff, Alex Kennedy, and Ryan Duff.  Truex, Moffitt, Tardiff, and Kennedy are all contenders for Rookie of the Year.  The top eighteen drivers have made all seven of the races to date.  Thirty-six different drivers have earned points this season.

  NASCAR officials expect about twenty-eight entries for the 8th Annual Edge Hotel 150 event.  The Entry deadline is July 20th.  Former winners of the Edge Hotel 150 include Andy Santerre (2002), Dale Quarterly (2003), Matt Kobyluck (2004, 2005, and 2008), Sean Caisse (2006) and Joey Logano (2007).  Martin Truex, Jr. finished second in 2003 after setting fast time.  Former NASCAR NEXTEL Cup winner Steve Park is expected to return in the Castle Chevrolet.  In his first visit to Adirondack Speedway, Park finished well into the top ten.  Bryon Chew set fast time last year at 109.296 MPH, a NASCAR record for this event.

    Adirondack Speedway?s modern campgrounds will open on Wednesday, July 29th.  On Friday evening, July 31st, the Sport Compacts, Light Trucks, Ladies Light Trucks and Super Stocks will be in action.  Joining the Saturday program with the NASCAR Edge Hotel 150 will be the speedway?s ASA Late Models for a 50 lap contest.  The Allison Legacy Series North-South Challenge event will join the weekend?s racing events for the first time.  Check the track?s web site for up-to-date information at www.AISPEEDWAY.com.  Camping reservations are available at (315) 346-7223.
