CRSA Sprints Add Three Dates To 2021 Schedule

(SODUS, NY) – The future stars of sprint car racing in the Northeast- the Super Gen Products CRSA Sprints will be putting 2020 completely in the rearview mirror come 2021 and will have little reason or time to look back.
A COVID-19-affected season that only featured 4 series points shows had been largely upgraded with a 2021 schedule that initially included 12 races. As of this past week- that total has grown to 15 with the addition of 2 tour dates at Brett Deyo’s new promotional effort at Utica-Rome Speedway and an additional date at Ronnie Ford’s Afton Speedway.
Series promoter Mike Emhof announced the events Saturday afternoon- Friday June 25 at Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, NY; Friday July 9 at Afton Speedway in Afton, NY; and back to Utica-Rome on Friday August 20.
“We are extremely thankful that Brett has included CRSA and the Patriots into his new effort at Utica-Rome,” noted Emhof. “This is a very exciting time for fans of this historic racing facility. We’ve had a great partnership with Brett with CRSA at the Short Track Supernationals and more recently at Fonda Speedway. Our drivers are already looking forward to putting on a thrilling show for Brett’s fanbase.”
Afton Speedway, second all-time in CRSA history with 32 events, has added a July 9 special featuring the stars of the 305 sprints. This date is in addition to the already scheduled tour date during the Brett Deyo promoted Fall special on October 8. High hopes are held for racing and fans to return to the racy clay oval just off Interstate 88 after a season of quiet in 2020.
There is an additional date on the CRSA Sprints schedule, Saturday July 3, that is being discussed and we hope to share some exciting news on that in the near future. Stay tuned to all of the social channels for the CRSA Sprints for more developments.
The 2021 Super Gen Products CRSA Sprints 15-race tour schedule is also flanked by weekly Saturday night CRSA-sanctioned racing at Paul Cole’s Land of Legends Raceway. Land of Legends just announced on Friday a purse increase for the 305 Sprint Cars- now paying $500-to-win, $300 for second, $220 for third and $125 just to take the green flag.
