2.3 million ...hmmm wonder what Oswego sold for a few year's ago ?

Lancaster needs what Oswego got.

Owners, that had the means ($$$) to invest in the place.

A good PR guy big into social media .

Hope ,Lancaster fines the right purchaser and doesn't become a developers new project.

My two cents worth.

ISMA winged Supers and SBS  at Oswego Saturday night.

 $25  kids under 16 free.

That's where I'm going.

See,  if Shoe2 can better his  14.9  lap record.

I have no idea want's going on with Lancaster Speedway.

If it's being sold , leased , what ever the deal is.

I do know that these deals take time , with all the legal stuff, etc.

We, as fans went thorough the same thing when Oswego was on the block a few years ago.

There, was always rumors floating around.

Thank god the track ,ended up with new owners that had the capital to make improvements and keep the place alive.

Here, it Dec and last I checked 19 supermodifieds are signed up already.

Hope Lancaster goes down the same path.

Were around  $2500  travelling from Canada to Oswego every weekend.

And a few local dirt tracks in between.

Is this about the Nov date ?    Or is the Dec 14 date now in limbo ?

People need to know , travel , etc.

Kind of reminds, me of situation with big block supermodifieds in New England.

They started a small block super class , that killed off the big blocks as a Saturday night class.

Most the big block cars ,went tour racing ISMA or MSA or hauled to Oswego.

Not familiar with the area.

Anybody recommend a good local hotel ?

Thought I read there was a hotel deal somewhere.

Thanks.

Did you go up to the owner and introduce yourself and express your concerns about his truck? There was a good chance for you to talk to him instead of using this forum. Time to grow a pair.

Why waste my breath? He'd just tell me like he tells everyone else, "if you don't like it, don't come back". By the looks of the place, a lot of people are following his suggestion.

That's really a shame.  The new owners at Oswego are hands on . Very approachable to the fans and drivers.  You see them everywhere , in the stands , pits , concession stands.  I got stuck in mud ...They pushed me out saying If I made the trip to the races least they could do was push my truck out. Nice to hear fours hours from home.

Well , Oswego Speedway got things tuned around.

Couple years ago they were close to shouting down.

New owner's done some repairs and upgrades , car count is up in both classes.

Kids under 16 free with an Adult to entice new fans.

Very big on social media , you get updates daily via Twitter , Facebook.

I've been going for 40yrs cause I love the Supers.

7hr round trip every weekend from Canada.
