No mass gatherings until phase 4  Dont look for anything to open with spectators at all this year unless people start rising up and take this state back.

One flyer that I have in mind. How many remember Mario's last ride at speed in an Indycar when he ran over something on the track. That was a real flyer and he he got away with it without a scratch.

Blocking is not allowed in Indycar. I often wonder what would take place back in the day after a race ended with blocking as we see today in NASCAR if Foyt, Jones or Bobby Unser was in the race.

They need to put an effort in preparing the track. It is a wonder they have not had a huge wreck there this year because of the dust.

Things sure have changed since I first became involved with the sport.

Check out the recap on their website. Very seldom does a feature have that kind of action. It was a real barn burner. By the way, what is going on with the tracks this year? Never saw so much dust at some local tracks and one in particular seems to be getting worse every week. A few weeks back they had to stop the first race of the night because of dust.

The powers that be(with all the money$$)destroyed Fulton with dirt and Utica-rome as well.
[Dirt is what saved Fulton and that statement came right from Bub Benway./quote]

To my way of thinking the racing has left the track and gone way too much on what happens in the pit during stops. It has gotten to the point that the tire changers are more of a factor than the driver. It all started with the closing of the pits, cars bunching up before stops and way to many rules and penalties. Then there is always stupid things like lucky dog etc. There is also the factor of the Goodyear tires that are a constant failure just about every week. Program needs to get back the way it was 25 or 30 years ago and do away with all the BS.

I saw that too and that is the only thing about Spencer Speedway I have seen. Other tracks have all kinds of info out about next year. At any rate, not a good thing loosing their biggest race of the year.

It was dirty driving period. One of the biggest differences in NASCAR and Indycar today is this type of driving is not tolerated in Indycar. I agree much of this goes back to making a hero out of the way SR. drove.

One thing about today, it is easy to qualify for the feature and finish in the top ten.
