I long for the good old days when the ads in Gator and Area Auto had the full payout listing.
At least you knew what you were getting into.  Now days we just see winner and start money.

I can at least confirm that it is $2000 to win/$100 to start for the 602's on Friday night.  Once our weekend is complete with our next 2 shows, we will get together with Dan to go over their procedure and I will post upon receiving information.

well since nobody seems to want to advertise the race with out doing a bunch of research...
payout?

pits fee $35
race entry fee $30

with that cost plus fuel start money should be $200.

... per Yates Facebook page.  I apologize for not having a purse breakdown.  I have not received one yet, but I'm sure it will be stout to say the least.

OPEN PRACTICE TO KICK OFF DUTCH HOAG NATIONAL OPEN WEEKEND AT YATES COUNTY SPEEDWAY ON THURSDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 23RD FOLLOWED BY TWO HUGE DAYS OF RACING ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24TH AND 25TH

DUNDEE, NY…The Dutch Hoag National Open Weekend at Yates County Speedway will get underway on Thursday night, October 23rd with an open practice for all divisions. Practice will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. giving drivers the opportunity to get dialed in for two big days of racing on Friday and Saturday.
Admission in the grandstand is free while pit admission for practice is $20. Drivers will have plenty of track time to get their cars set up for a huge weekend of racing on Friday and Saturday. Practice is open to all divisions that will be competing at the track on the weekend. Those divisions are the Big Block and Small Block Modifieds, 602 Crate Sportsman, Street Stocks, Go Nuclear Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, TUSA Mod Lites, Four Cylinders and the NY6A Micro Sprints.
In addition, drivers that will be competing in Friday night’s show will be allowed to reserve their parking spot in the pit area on Thursday. Plus the Street Stock and Sportsman drivers can take care of their entry fees on Thursday so they don’t have to stand in a long line on race day.
“It will be five weeks since we will have had cars on the track so this is a great opportunity not only for the drivers, but also for the track crew to have things in place for the big weekend of racing”, said Promoter Dan Harpell. “This event traditionally draws large fields of cars and we want to give the drivers the chance to get some track time in preparation for their race”, he added.
Racing will get the green flag on Friday night highlighted by the running of the GRIT Series 602 Crate Sportsman Classic. The 100 lap race will pay the winner $2,000. The 602 Crate Sportsman will be joined by the Friesen Chevrolet Empire Series for IMCA Modifieds, the TUSA Mod Lites and the Four Cylinders. Race time on Friday is 7:00 p.m.
The weekend will conclude on Saturday with a big five division show. The Modifieds will run a 40 lap feature, paying $2,500 to win and will be joined by the Go Nuclear Late Models, NY6A Micro Sprints, the TUSA Mod Lites, and the highlight of the weekend, the annual Empire 100 for Street Stocks. The 100 lap race will pay the winner $2,000 plus over $3,500 in lap money. The race pays $200 to take the green and a huge field of cars is expected. Race time on Saturday is 3:00 p.m.
It was also just announced that a Non Qualifiers race will be held for the Street Stocks. All drivers that don’t qualify will have one last shot at getting in the show but they will have a decision to make. They can either keep the $300 for winning the Non Qualifiers race or forfeit that money to take the last starting spot in the Empire 100.
In addition all cars that don’t qualify will have an extra incentive because they will all be given an opportunity to go to Five Mile Point Speedway the following Saturday, November 1st, and compete in another Non Qualifiers race to start off the night. The top two finishers in that race will receive guaranteed starting spots in the Street Stock feature that night, which also pays $2,000 to win. They will have to attempt to qualify to better their starting positions but if they don’t make it in through the heat or consi they will have a guaranteed spot to fall back on.
Make your plans now for a huge weekend of racing at Yates County Speedway. The track is located on Route 14A in Dundee, New York, just outside of Watkins Glen. For further information call the speedway office at 607-243-8686 or look us up on Facebook under Yates County Speedway.

They shouldn't have any problems making 100 laps on a tank of fuel.  Any other Sportsman guys that can give us insight?  I remember Dean saying last year it would be a stretch but making 200 at Dundee wasn't completely out of the question.  200 Lapper was 80 miles, this race will be 100 laps/40 miles

just would off been nice to know ahead of time if stopping or not to have some idea on how much fuel need to buy or if to change a tire or not ? the street stocks know what they have to do.

Dan told us last night on Turn 5 Live that there will not be a mid-race break.  Laps 26-75- caution flag laps will count but no more than 5 caution laps will count on any given yellow flag period.
