What's the best battery for a dirt mod I'm not running an alternator

I run the optima  red top battery with no alternator with no problems.

We have used the same red top battery for years with no problems. They are worth every penny.

but the best battery doesn't have enough voltage alone. to get the most out of your ignition system more voltage is best and with an alt. you get up near 14 volts or higher giving a hotter more powerful spark than any battery alone. alt.'s don't take power, they make power.
