Having only raced part time @ SHANGII the past 3 or 4 seasons we can say we have NEVER had any problems with George, Amy, Buck, Jerry or ANY of the staff. Weaver Motorsports #87 is a low buck team we don't have a good motor & tires on the car are from Buck Sharpstein & Georges scrap tire pile. We live in Chittenango N.Y. 100 miles away & like racing @ ShangII. We have NEVER had a problem with George or any of his staff & George stopped & thanked us for supporting his track. If we lived near Owego we would help George, Buck & Jerry as much as possible. Lets start a new page @ ShangII & go forward from this point & show our support to make the track the premier facility that it is.  Pat & Paul Weaver owners & Kyle Weaver driver of # 87 Super Stock

Support divisions are the backbone of local short tracks. We tow 100 miles each way to race @ ShangII gas for the truck is approx. $75.00 gas for the race car @ $10.00 per gal is $80.00 getting into the race track for 4 people $140.00 plus food ect. On may 29th we raced for $700.00 to win & $100.00 to take the green. We had engine problems & finished 13th for $100.00 Due the math there is no room for paying less. We will return to ShangII this season when we can

It is great that in upstate New York we have two  premier race tracks thanks to the vision of George Swansbrough Shang II and Paul Lyndaker Adirondack Speedway. Both owners are hands on with the operation of their tracks and both have had good times & bad. We as car owners, drivers and fans need to support them
