Title: World Racing Group and DIRTcar Northeast release the 2019 SDS schedule

Land of Legends Raceway with two dates this year.

I hate to admit it, but seeing all these events scheduled around "Super" DIRT Week just takes the thrill out of it, honestly....

What events are you talking about "around" Super Dirt Week?   Are you talking about companion events not listed on the schedule provided or the SDS races before Super Dirt Week?

More so the events that are scheduled late in the season before and after.

I always thought that it was supposed to be the super bowl-type event of dirt racing in the northeast, and it seems like adding Canandaigua and the Brockville Fall Nationals before and after take away the time to build anticipation, and the SUPER. I don't mean it is a bad thing to have those events. It's hard to explain.

Brockville has been the week after SDW for a while now.  And the date for Canandaigua opened up because Columbus day is late this year (SDW and Outlaw 200 both pushed into October)

Matt, did you notice something weird about that schedule? Like, the big blocks are back at Eldora this year - a points race 7/31 and exhibition on 8/1, but they only have 7/31 listed.

I get what you're saying. It just feels like we race all the way up to Charlotte now, and Charlotte is the actual end of the season, where "Super" DIRT Week should be. To me it's kind of like having the playoffs after the Super Bowl and the Pro Bowl is actually the end of the season...

Merrittville ticked them off I guess. Didn't get a Dirtcar sanction for their 358 mods (dropped it part way thru last season) and want to run the W-16 powered cars on Alcohol

I wonder if that will change Williamson's plan? Wasn't he scheduled to run a car for someone Saturday's at Merrittville?

The 358's weren't DIRTcar sanctioned last year either at Merrittville.

And for Williamson, he was planning on being hit and miss on Saturdays anyway:

Sweet Jesus! The strip clubs in Florida will never be the same!

I had read that article, but ... you know... I forgot. Thanks, Matt.

Mat will be driving the car that Scott Kerwin has driven at RANSOMVILLE For the Cocco Family at Ransomville.
