Good Luck at "The Open"...

6
I have heard from several sources, that the name changeing is worth $50,000...I cannot confirm that...

7
Hopefully, maybe Holland would be interested in running the "Open"...

Skora tried passing Jankowiak on the outside, Jankowiak was pushing up. Skora tried the inside, had his right

"planted", when Jankowiak came down and spun...Skora should have won...

Just a thought, I would like to give $100.00 to the "tenth place finisher" rather than say buy a lap. Maybe take positions 1-10 only

and build the purse. Multiple contributions per finishing position, not just one sole contributor....

Jimmy Zacharias...If he can manage those tires...shall be the car to beat!

I would love to see this...reminds me of the "Coupes of Old". My favorite dirt car was the "Black Beauty" number 61 of Ivan Little.

Chrome headers and flame job along the side. That car was "Immaculate".

Jimmy Zacharias had a strong showing winning his heat, running up front all night, settling for sixth place. The car lacked "steam" compared

to the other "Rutherford car"

I thought for sure the "09" car was an old "Howe car", but after talking to him in the pits, learned not. Great job! Great class!

Also, 5th race on the tires!

Racing Discussion / Holland-Perry starter Dave Sutton
« on: July 07, 2013, 11:08:57 PM »
Long time Holland Speedway and Perry Raceway starter, Dave Sutton, was flagging a race at Holland Speedway,

when he got knocked off the starter stand, under the green, landing in the middle of the track, I believe breaking both of his legs.

Luckily escaped further injury...
