Of course I'm all for it. But when? Date matters.

Sept 27th  US Open

Oct 3&4 ROC 200   ( the 10th & 11th are open but if it rains on the 200 this will likely be the make up)

17th is MVS 150 but Sunday is free

24 is the Waterford Tri Track big race  (25th for rain)

How late in the season could you go?

"do I look nervous?" (no) " There's your answer."

The idea now is a Friday (4 cyl and SST) and Saturday (supers and tour type mods) show with a Sunday rain date the weekend of October 9th-11th. Nothing is set in stone yet but a meeting this week will tell us more.

Actually, Oct 24 is big SK race and Granite Pro Stocks and qualifying for legends. . The modifieds are a one day show ( unless they want to come practice on Saturday) on Oct 25 ( along with a big legends race and mini stocks)

Would love to see the ROC/Tour type cars back at WCIS. Was always a great show. This would draw a lot of fans with everything finishing up for the year as long as nothing conflicts.

Having it the same weekend as probably the last weekend ever at Syracuse may be a mistake.  To pay a purse that big you need an open weekend with no conflicts.  Why not try a weekday like Seekonk?

Again, still a lot of detail to sift through... but questions mean people are intrigued so this is good...

Having it the same weekend as probably the last weekend ever at Syracuse may be a mistake.  To pay a purse that big you need an open weekend with no conflicts.  Why not try a weekday like Seekonk?

The overlap of fans/racers that would not show at our event due to SDW would be minimal is what we have been able to conclude from past experience. The overwhelming conclusion is the majority of Dirt racing fans/drivers are exactly that because they don't like asphalt racing... had several factors play a role in this conclusion.

Any word on what tire?

Would likely be the AR tire that the Whelen Mods tested

This would be a part of the Fall Shootout which was originally scheduled for October 3rd, then crudely robbed of it's weekend with the change of the RoC weekend to chemung that weekend. So things are falling in place to move the date to either the week after or another date that doesn't conflict with the tour type mods.

crudely robbed ?  OUCH!!  Did "you" crudely rob Lancaster of any cars/fans going to Saturday nights?

tell you what..let's NOT go there.  You could really have your Fall Shootout but run your AR shod SST's against

the Modified 200 at Chemung. Two different animals but in the grand scheme of things Perry is the little fish and the

TT ROC is the big one.  Not polking fun really I'm not just stating what i believe most others understand as well.

Have a midweek big dough show for the Mods...you'd get a nice feild I bet.

What a lot of people seem to forget is there was always a ROC race scheduled for the weekend of Oct 3-4.
