Racing Discussion / What did you think of the NASCAR race Sunday ?
« on: May 19, 2020, 11:41:05 AM »
Boy I would love to keep this positive but I found the excitement level on par with the Golf match on the other channel. I don’t know about you but there are just to many laps. My suggestion would to run Heat races and run half as many laps for the feature. Don’t beat me up to bad. I think it was apparent that there were empty seats before the pandemic. The first and last 35 laps are the only thing that holds my attention.

Racing Discussion / I had a great time at Outlaw Speedway!

I have not been to the races in a while since I hung up my helmet for the 3rd time. I had a great time Friday night. I got my moneys worth, what a great show. Tyler Siri has just done a great job with that place. He really moved the show along due to rain. The facilities are clean and updated and the food was great. All the prices were reasonable! Great racing in all classes. I even talked with Kurt Bush for 10 minuets! He could not have been nicer. Also, they are doing a fantastic Job at promoting!

I got the chance to talk with Kurt for 5-10 min. and he was just the nicest guy. Had a great time at Outlaw speedway. They really moved the show along due to the rain. My only complaint was that there was little to no announcing. I could not tell who was on the track for the sportsman. I am also deaf so that might be part of the problem.

The price gauging has always been that way, I paid $400 a night at flee bag motel in Bristol back in 2007. I feel that it just comes down to people loosing interest., partly due to the product that is being presented, but also due to the fact that there is so many other forms of entertainment. There is the same trend in hunting, our numbers are plummeting at an unsustainable rate). BTW who has 3+ hours to sit and do nothing but watch the tube. The races are way to many laps to keep anyones attention. When I rarely do watch a race on TV i DVR it and watch the first 25 laps and the last 25.

What about Track Owners??? Brunton Smith must be stroking out!!! To many Laps, to many races, tracks with two dates. The cash cow is in its death throws. That show yesterday is got to KILL sponsorship. Those camera's panning a stadium that is a third full is got to kill sponsorship. NASCAR was real good at not panning the empty seats at the bigger tracks but there was no way around it yesterday.

Unbelievable, Had to be no more than 1/3 full. Looked like they were practicing. 30-40 thousand??? NASCAR is in deep dark trouble.

6 big shows is better than 12 lightly attended races. Hopefully the place will be packed!

Is this a positive sign for this up and coming season? I thought Spencer was done. There is a 315 phone #???

Not racing related but nothing else going on this site. Did you see how this B*&ch was carrying on while the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES was delivering his state of the union. Some one, Preferably a USMC Marine 4 star General should of back handed her in the C- SUCKER and told her to sit the F down and have some respect!

Racing Discussion / Is Sweetners Plus Sold ?
« on: November 28, 2018, 08:13:56 AM »
I herd that Carl Myers sold Sweetners Plus. If that is true what is to become of Tim McCreedy and his Late Model team, Matt Shepards Outlaw ride and Kyle Coffey. Maby Sunny can confirm

What is the regular program like on a Saturday night? What are the support classes? No heats? How do they set the Mod feature line up? It amazes me the amount of people on this site that state that they don't like watching support classes or there are to many races and classes. I love watching any races that are close and have multiple lead changes. I always thought the mini stocks at Outlaw put on a great show. That goes for the street stocks as well, they are very fast with multiple winners in a season. The racing I don't like is on a DRY SLICK track where it takes 5 laps to make a pass and the leader laps the last car by lap 10.
