Race track announcer/radio show host/writer Ken Hangauer Jr. Hangauer clicked off his announcer's microphone for good after announcing Saturday's U.S. Open Race of Champions TQ Midget Racing Series race at NYIRP. To my knowledge, he is the ONLY announcer inducted into the F.O.A.R. Score Hall of Fame; a great honor, to be sure!!!...I've had the privilege to have announced with him at many local tracks. I wish him nothing but the best! I will miss the 83-year old "mic-man" !
