Holy frigen sh. It.  Final destination.
How sad.   And scary.   NASCAR needs to. Do away with metal bodies  at these high speed tracks or somethin. Like a frigen sheet metal bomb.  So sad. I can't believe they are  even going to race tomorrow still.
May god be with all who were Injured. God bless!!

ahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahahahhahaahaha  i got a beat ***** dirt legal car  i might just do that  jd00  maybe  will see not really worth my time what do they pay 75-100$ to win ?  jesus i have to redo the head another dumb a s s example of these 4cyl dirt car rules only allow a 460 lift cam give me a break who cares what cam u have they all cost the same$ But i might just to put u in your place  K!  what car do i have do beat??  so i know who to wave at when i go by!! f it ill just wave at every body on the way by..  make me sick listen to this bs fwd  beat rwd  bla bla  what ever  come race at a race track where you can run hoosier race tire s
and win some decent $ come race me at my track this yr please  pretty  pretty  please.   ;D ;D

and i was saying the fwds are beter then the woodhaul  rwd cars  even in stock form  my god you cant do anything to those rwds up there.
car in video is legal at any track  and only difference is a holley 500 carb.  But the owner of that car dont want to get dirt on it! plus its now sold

vid was just a example of a asphalt car  nothing to fancy just put together the right way built to race not drive around.
BEST OF LUCK TO ALL U 4 CYL RACERS

scratch that figured it out

i might ad this car in vid was running a stock exhaust system / shang lets u run a header this had a ranger manifold  they also allow a bigger intake this had a stock 2 barrel intake.  and was under cammed for this track.   so  could be even faster with a few changes.

guys  you are talking about wood  haull  they dont let the 2.3 do anything that you need to do to make them fast  there living in the 90s with that class

i will  bet u you bank account  you bring that 11 car from woodhaull  to shang  which is concrete  you will be in a whole different  ball game!!  Asphalt rwd are way more raced out then a junkyard wood haull car..  guranteed  ill post a you tube vid if i can of a 8400 rpm ministock from shang

woodhaull and there rules yes the fwd are gonna be quicker then a restricted ministock mustang   good luck  please bring your cars up!!!   if someone can post this video for me this is what you put in on youtube  please post it for me not sure how to do it.  thanks

#10 Shangri-La 2 mini stock

racer 76  that 10 car is a top notch rwd   and id put any $ on it  it walk on the fwds  so not feeling your fwd vs rwd  stetment  the problem with the fwd is weight most those fwd cars are damn lite   rwd need to be 2300-2500#s  you make the crxs and vws the same weight and a good rwd is walkn a fwd   ive done it! and know that 10 car could do it easy!!!

the mustangs have more motor  its all about the weight advantage the fwds have

shang 2 opened the class for the rwd and fwd  race together   but they made the fwds weight a minimum 2100  and they got 0 cars for there reg season
they had some damn good rules to to make for some pretty racey cars either fwd or rwd and 0 showed up.

posted is a shang 2 car / blackrock car or could even be a woodhaull car  was a chemung car.

it is a 89 mustang chassis all stock location, rule book engine (good parts)

some  think its a illegal car  only because  its built with all the right parts and tuned to max output! do your homework buy the right parts and seat time = s untouchable rwd ministock   folks dont relize with these minis it takes a combo of parts to all add up to = a fast mini.   it takes more the 1 part to go good, its all do able for a resonable cost..   car recently sold for 5800$ going to myrtle beach speedway   I might add  that the fwd cars are very very affordable 1500$ or less in my eyes the absolute entry class   then you jump to the rwd mini that runs upwards of $6, 000.  fwd, rwd,ss, sst, nascar mods, legends  i think this is the racecar latter!

"No Offense, But They Are An Entry Level Car."

let me touch this subject 1 last time  there the most affordable racecar out of the 4 divisions available to race  so i guess that makes them entry level race cars
but only because they cost $5000 to build and run vs ss that run $15-20+ thousand dollars  still no need for the label they simply just dont cost as much to build!

these rwd minis are set up alot like the street stocks are.  and are really just scaled down versions of street stocks,   there is no need to have to cater to a certain class and say what class is the supposed to be the fun class or entry level  there all fun and there all race cars in the end they deserve to be called 4 cyls or mini stocks  just like ss are called street stocks and sport mod are call sport mods and so on....

i helped out a pair of brothers last yr with 2 asphalt ministocks  now they had the best parts $ can buy that the rule book allows, yes they were around 5-6000 dollars in parts when all said and done  but they are about the same lap times as there fellow ss  and in no way can you put together a 6000$ ss they were and are untouchable  and are nothing short of a race car.  again cut the entry level garbage  cause with that label folks who dont know much about the cars think they should be built using junkyard parts  and bone stock and only raced by  guys with no expierence and only ran a season or two before you should move up bla bla bla ect..  im sorry but they shouldnt  theres nothing wrong with a racey 4cyl built with race parts that in the end runs around $5000 to build a snotty reliable ministock 4cyl!!!   Please  yall just try and understand these are racecars non the less and just because there the most affordable built racecar they dont need to be labeled entry level.  Ive see quite a few modified and seasoned vets run these rwd 4cyls who all had a ton of high dollar racecar expierence...  the were def not entry level racers!

Ive ran and helped out with minis ss mods dirt late models ect  and i raced to have fun   and you are doing just that in a ministock  you win the same 20$ plastic trophy in a 4cyl as you do in a modified and these 4cyls are 1/2 the maintence as a higher dollar class of car.   the legends cars are pretty entry level in my opinion but there called legends cars not the advanced go kart class... or clown car class ect  the class is legends

give the guys who race these 4cyls a little respect  drop the entry level label and relize that they are just another form / class of car and in my opinion one of the funest cars to race for the fact that you dont have to remortgage your house every yr to have a competive fast racecar and most importantly a little fun!!  even the higher end race parts for these 2.3 minis are very affordable match good parts with good drivers and you have a very competive fun racey class!

The 4cyl  class  needs to be called   ****4 cylinders or minstocks plan and simple****   please cut the entryclass bs
there all entry level depends how much $ you wanna spend to go racing.  to all the boys and girls running ministocks this season  have fun and race hard!!

well  the track looks better then i thought the pic posted here doesnt do it justice

its a little to narrow on the straights for how tight the turns are  you cant arc it in like you need to.   its gonna be tough real tough with the open wheels
look at these lates every time a pass is made theres severe contact.   imagine the mods  your gonna see 0 passing un fortunitley.

bottom line its way to tight  But good idea though!

4cyls are considered low budget and entry level class of cars  and there for looked down uppon like there a joke or somthing
( the entire bone stock class is pretty pathetic and embarassing, but the actuall mini stock type 4cyls are def a race car)

im sorry but to me its another form of racecar / another class like legends cars, street stocks, sst mods , nascar mods ect  all race cars just different class and different $ to opperate.
i ran rwd 4cyls for yrs and help out a few guys that still do  and know everything there is to know about 2.3 4cyls  you can get a damn nice mini street stock race car for under $5000  and believe me it will go around the track damn good,  but its still looked down on and considered  entry level.  when in fact it is just another class of car/racecar,  it should not be considered entry, enduro , low budget ect  its just another class of car period.

people need to eliminate the term entry level and lowbudget!!!  racing is pricey regardless of class  thats up to the racer to choose what class they can afford!!  they all cost $  $3000-$75,000 dollars you pick!!

but we need to remeber the people who are hating on the class are grand stand racers never been in a race car whats so ever and have no clue how good the 4cyls actually get around the track sitting in the drivers seat! if u put the 4cyls on a  stop watch   they are with in a second of the next class up street stocks that costs 15-$20,000 to run!  w/ that said  the 4cyls deserve alot more credit then they get!!!

man that track if u can even call it that looks pathetic  frigen tires for walls  ect  going to be very very disapointing  maybe good for bandalaros but $50,000 modifieds definetly a joke for a race track.

hats off for trying this but almost looks like a last minute deal,  they def inetly could  of done  something better then that.  i mean use movable walls instead of  tires,    30 cars on that thing of a track is gonna be almost dangerous  definetly slow and more hilarious then exciting but  ill give it a chance a 7pm  i bet the pole sitter wins!

the 2.3 fords make a damn nice almost street stock sound   lots of blub @ idle real throaty!!

** i will say the the fwd  4cyls are extremely terrible sounding.   another and probally the worst sounding car is legend cars  omg they sound terrible and then the popcorn sound they make when off throttle.

race cars soundnt have mufflers at leasr not a street type muffler like the 4cyls are suppossed to run kills the power.
schoenfield makes a real nice muffler  for like 20$

thats 1 of the many rules that make no sense made by some one who really doesnt have a clue.

"""They tried to put on a banquet, but didn't get enough of a response, what are they supposed to do? Eat the other 40 tickets?""

answer is=    yes   they should eat the other tickets  there were 60 rsvps  more then 1/2  and a smart thing in case of a short rsvp list would of been to had a plan B  back up plan  but nope  they pulled the entire plug  at the last minute!!  pretty shi tty deal to do to there people who supported there track all yr!!

christ even do n something at the track i remember andy doin that when i raced at tioga  yea it sucked and was cheap  but again better then nothing!!
