1991 honda accord f22 (4th gen) tranny help
« on: October 30, 2012, 10:43:38 AM »
i Have a 1991 Honda accord ex with a f22 motor which is has a h2u5 tranny. I am trying to find the lowest geared tranny in third that will bolt up to a series f22 engine right now my third gear ratio is 1.185 im trying to find a lower gear to create more rpms down the straightaway. my gear right now are 1st-3.307, 2nd-1.809, 3rd-1.185, 4th-0.807,5th-0.685, Final gear is 4.062. I am running 225/50/15s for tires and want too keep them sizes. I am only turning about 4800 rpm and end of straightaway. Any help for a tranny swap or other things i can do with out changing tires would be great thank you.
