The E1 would be Fran Bohne, probably taken at  Canandaigua as I believe that he ran primarily there. I remember the dash looking like an airplane cockpit with all the gauges he had in there. If memory serves me correctly, Fran was a tractor puller before getting into mods.

I remember Fran Bohne racing at Ransomville. Fran went back to tractor pulling after leaving the Modifieds.....

Fran ran Woodhull in the early/mid seventies with a Barracuda Late Model with a big block. One night, the car caught fire and before the fire crew could take two steps toward the car the fire was out. He had the first in car fire extinguishment system I had ever seen on a short track car... this would've  been '72 to '74, before he moved to Modifieds. Always on the leading edge of technology, the last tractor I saw him build/run was powered by a jet/turbine from a helicopter.

I went back and looked at that picture of the E-1...The nerf  bars are amazing!
Here's another  DIRT Trackin' cover from 1994...A couple of them are easy....

I can give you the easy ones, Joe Plazek #1 on top, Doug Hoffman #1 and Jack Johnson #12A in the small photo, but all I know about the #32 is that it was a Lebanon Valley car whose driver I can't think of.  Can I get a hint?

Figures, all the time Hoffman was in that car and the very short stint that Alan had in it, and I get it wrong.  Oh well.

Correct, the Groff Tire 44 is none other than St. Catherines, Ontario's own Flyin' Brian Stevens.
