First of all we did not refuse tech, they asked us to pull the tranny for inspection of aftermarket parts, next was to pull the clutch/pressure plate, fly wheel and associated parts we were by rule to weight 30lb. we were 29.6 if I had pulled the through out bearing we would of been fine no issue there. All three of the top cars had scalloped crank faces which the official automatically surmise that your running a light weight crank. My refusal for pulling the motor is we have an inspection plate installed in the oil pan just for this reason to easily view the crank and do your inspection with a boroscope (excuse my spelling). We had a person volunteer to go get a scope but tech wanted us to pull motor and then oil pan. I don't know what was accomplished by pulling an engine and then the oil pan that could of been done a lot quicker with the scope and the same results and a lot less cost to the racer. I still have respect for Bobby and Chris but I don't agree with the call and what they thought they accomplished with the process. Fire Away
Buck Sharpsteen (This is my opinion and my opinion only) I usually take heat from my family for my opinions, I guess if I don't voice my thoughts I shouldn't care about the results. Oh Carol you should have watched the race Nick didn't really run away with it.

Do you really think that would be fair to the cars and drivers and fans that did show up ? Are you going to reimburse the teams and spectators that did show up ? I don't really care if you reschedule but don't screw the guys that spent an arm full of money already to attend and qualify, shame on the guys that blew it off. I do agree having a qualifier for the remaining spots but lets not create additional spots for guys that thumbed there noises to go else where
