What's the plan for Sunday? 90% chance of rain. Is there a rain date? Does the track have any plans to be proactive and let the teams and fans know what the back-up plan is if Sunday gets rained out?

Or should we all buy a two day pass on Saturday and then not be able to use it for day 2.

I am sure the teams that travel long distance for this want to know also......

Charlie, we have been in touch with all of the teams regarding the weather throughout the week. We aren't jumping the gun but there is a rain date we hope we won't have to use. A decision will be made with plenty of time to communicate said decision to the drivers/fans.

Awesome. If there is a rain date.....why not let everyone know what that date is now?

The tentative date we are looking at would be the following Saturday, October 21.

Thank you.

I know it's inconsequential now, but not all of us "old timers" are into FB, and the other forms of social media...........

Which is why posted it...1 minute and 30 seconds after your post.  ;D

Is there anyone at or near the track that can tell me what the weather looks like? Is it raining? Wet? Radar shows it's raining, but also looks like it should clear out in the next hour.

Charlie-back then, was it the same weekend as the World finals at the Charlotte dirt track?????? Just wonder if the fans there are strapped for money with the dirt track having a second show a few weeks ago for dirt's junior classes

I think it was within a week or two. There were a lot more cars back then also. This year Tour Mods (25) and PASS Late Models (28) had decent car counts, but other divisions struggled. 7 street stocks, 7 SK Mods, 14 4 bangers, 9 limited late models.

Crowd looks pretty sparse down South. We went to this race back in 07 and 08 and it was standing room only. What happened? Also, not too many drivers from the NY/PA area. Only a handful of SK mods??

Dakota - Are cameras being allowed for this event? A few days ago, the track face book page put out a policy of no cameras allowed and that security would be checking people at the gate.....then, the post was deleted. I asked the question on the track face book page and I've emailed mmsportsphotos (as indicated in the deleted post) and received zero response. Thanks.

Charlie, I sent you a message on Facebook. I'll send you a pm regarding the issue but essentially professional grade photography and video equipment will not be allowed since we have worked out exclusive deals with our track photographer and racing news source. This essentially only impacts 3-5 individuals that we see at most events, and most of them have reached out to us and we have come to an agreement on the issue and the have been very understanding.

If you have any questions you can feel free to shoot me a text or call at (585) 447-3602, and we hope you understand why this decision was made.

Thanks Dakota. I didn't see a message on Facebook, but will check the "other" inbox later today.
