I know I sure miss Saturday nights at Moc-A-Tek.  Found a new Saturday night home at Skyline, though.  These are my past and present favorites

I'll agree that Volusia might be the fastest "current" half mile, but Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA held that distinction for a long, long time. There was a spell when the track was so fast, guys were too scared to run there. We've all seen vapor trails off the wings of sprint cars, but how many can say they saw vapor trails off the spoiler of a dirt late model?
If they can have artists, pianists, florists, dentists and bicyclists... then I must be a racist.

was in the pits that night heard cody darrah say he barely had enough time to pull a tear off and he was already going into the next corner. and late models may be bad fast but there not an all out kinda car like a sprint car, sprint cars are hard on the gas strait around the track and late models are sideways door to door racing. not sayin anything bad cuz WoO late models are awesome
