Toyota wheels?
« on: February 11, 2011, 12:23:08 PM »
What is the bolt pattern for Toyota pickups?  I am getting one to build into an EST truck.  It is an '87.  I believe, although I am not sure, that they are 5x 4 1/2?  Is this right?  What will interchange with them?

if it is the 5 lug, then you are correct. they are 5 x 4 1-2". ;)            here is just a few that i can think of off the top of my head that will inner-change..
    ford ranger
    ford explorer
    ford aerostar
    ford crown vic/ltd
    ford bronco II
    ford newer mustangs (5 lug)
    lincoln towncars
    mercury grandmarquis
    mercury mardiner
    jeep cherokee
    jeep grand cherokee
    toyota rav 4
    toyota cressida
    toyota highlander.

these are all rear wheel drive or four wheel drive so the off-sets should be fine.
       hope this helps

Toyota is 5x4 1/2 but you have to watch the center hole.  The Toyota hub is about an 1/8 to a 1/4" larger in diameter than the ford.  I have made the Ford wheels work but it is a lot of work with a die grinder

Thanks for all the help guys.  When I posted that, the truck hadn't arrived yet so I had no way to measure and was looking at a couple different sets of wheels for it.  The truck has shown up, been built, and hopefully will see some track time this weekend.
