I have been running a TH350 that was said to be rebuilt. It runs fine in all gears when cold but starts to give up the ghost after it warns up in 5 or so laps. Any idea what might be bad? Fluid looks good but only has 10-12 laps on it. Thinking about pulling it out.

I've got a cooler on it. It is mounted perpendicular to the firewall under the hood. Think moving it to get some airflow might make a little difference? I flushed out the cooler and it doesn't leak or anything.

I had a fresh rebuilt TH 350 in my street stock years ago. Sometimes it would work, other times it wouldn't. Turned out to be a bad torque converter. Also make sure your dipstick is correct for the pan you are using.
