Well Ron speaking of facts, Thunder mountain was never sanctioned when they ran Saturdays. Fun fact  the only time they were sanctioned was when they ran Fridays under Dick Stark.  They did try running the cars a couple of years ago unsanctioned a couple of years ago  for what ever reason.

Well I have to apologize to Black Rock The purse was much better then originally announced and I did not know that although I am still not a fan of the 20 entry. I must also thank Rob Wilcox for all that he does for IMCA and Black Rock It is nice to have businesses willing to put money up for our class. Thanks Rob

$20 entry fee , How nice  on the day of the event  with a purse that really is not good at all ( Probably the worst of the year) from 3 to 10 we run for more on a regular Friday night . Really makes me want to Drive 2 hours to support this race.
Ya its only $20,  but its also the difference between promoters and track operators.

What do you say about Sean, When you think of ( North East IMCA) He was absolutely the best hands down.  Before the 4 links, high dollar shocks as Steve said everyone else compared themselves to Sean and on the few occasions you beat him you knew you accomplished something.  The man could drive and was a master fabricator and would help anyone who asked. He helped me on more then one occasion.
I am proud to say I got to race with him.
God speed my friend.

Why do people say he did not make it? He was running USAC sprint cars and Silver Crown cars, now I realize that's not a sportsman at Fonda but I always felt Usac was pretty big running against some pretty big names with big budgets. just because someone don't make it to Nascar does not make them a loser. Although I have no inside knowledge I do believe it was nothing to do with money and more to do with his friend getting killed he wanted to do some other things. I have been to Kokomo IN  4 times now and being from Binghamton I always paid close attention to him and he won 1 of the nights I was there. I always thought he was quite the wheelman. on a side note what an awesome track  if you ever have the opportunity to go there don't pass it up.

Thanks guys, We are pretty proud of that one especially the way Saturday ended up. I need to thank a few people for the help with making it there on Sunday. The Spalding (26) family gave us a rotor to use  so we could race on Sunday THANKS GUYS, and KC came down to help and then ran home to get parts off his car so we could go, Thanks KC.
