Woodhull Memorial Day Lap Sponsorships

Well, some of you asked for this, so here it is.

I have recived word that the 3rd annual Memorial Day Street Stock feature will have a 25 lap Feature and also recieved authorization to put a lap sponsorship deal in place. The way I have done this in the past the laps are $25.00 each, with $5.00 of that money going back into a sponsor pot. The winner of the race will draw the name of the winning sponsor.

Before the race starts, positions will be drawn as to what lap goes with what position, based on the number of race entries. This eliminates someone "dropping back" just to collect lap money and also gives every driver a chance at some extra $$

Per Woodhulls policy of not replying to any official track business on anything other than the Woodhull Raceway website, please leave this thread to be about lap sponsorships only. Questions for the track can and will be answered at www.woodhullraceway.com. This thread was started by me for the drivers and sponsors benefit.

One of the Laps Sponsored by Woodhull Raceway was drawn and the Track has asked that it be donated back to the Childrens Miraclce Network for a total of $250.00

This is MY fault, but I forgot to get up with Kenny and Morgan about the Hard Luck and Hard Chargers, I will have them very soon,
$50.00 was going to the Hard Charger and $25.00 to the Hard Luck Recipient courtesy of Andy Youngs.


Thanks again, see ya next saturday. Looks to me like this format worked ( THANKS TODD) as every driver took home some extra $$$. I felt kind of bad as I saw Chuck Pruden driving through the pits after the race to get some hot laps in, and found out he had gotten out of work late and did not make it in time to start the feature.

Oh and YES, the hair is coming off tommorow morning, We were going to cut it tonight, but all anyone had was some dull knives and a couple of rusty razor blades. Besides It was a little dirty from the dust and needs to be clean when it gets cut and sent off to Locks of Love.!!!!!
