RPM93, That is good news !! I will have to take a look a the Rules and see how the affect our cars.. Primarily Compression ours are 12:1 and our cars are Dry Sump Motors.. Beyond that I guess the only other thing I can think off of that might be different is if we can run our shocks of if we would have to replace them..

I looked at the Lancaster Rules they say no Dry Sump and no Canister Shocks which would rule out our shocks. I looked at the ROC site didn't see anything for Late Models.. Do you have any more Info ?

Late Models and Super Stocks are two completely different animals. Everything is different Bodies, Chassis, Engines, Rear Ends, etc.. etc..

We still have 2 cars that we haven't been running as well Don.. Planned on trying to run a few races this season but work schedules kept the drivers unavailable..

I am starting this thread to help support Chris Zach's kids in raising money to donate to the Southern Tier Microd Club. This is a great cause and I think everyone here recognizes that this is where our future racers are going to come from.

I am challenging everyone here to do what we can to help these kids and the Microd Club.

I am also asking Chris to post here and let us know how we can get our donations to his kids so they achieve their goal of donating to the Microd Club.

Schneider Motorsports will start this effort off with a $50 Donation. Lets see how much we can raise...

     wow not sure where that came from. My comment on the Late Models was really more my frustration with the current state of the Late Models as a whole than any one thing in particular.

     As for showing up.. Let see last year you came to Shangri-la 2 -1 time. We only ran 2 times since we had a baby and I planned on taking the rest of the season off to begin with. In 2011 you ran at Shangri-la 2 - 3 times and between both our cars we were there 16 Times. So what are you saying here ?

     Lets just chalk the whole exchange up to frustration and move on...

I would tend to agree with most of what mtnracer says.. Seriously, looks more and more like time to give up on our Late Models..

Joe,  Probably a good thing for the Late Models that racing was cancelled for today... Based on your post this morning I called two of the teams I had numbers for to let them know that the Late Models were going to be on the 10" Tire for this race. Unfortunately in anticipation of the switch to an 8" tire they have not prepared their cars to race. We also have not prepared either of our cars to race.

They said they were going to wait and see what the track was going to do especially tire wise before deciding what their plans are.
