« on: June 04, 2015, 12:37:09 AM »I'll toss a few out from My mid-seventies LM days at Shangri-La.Pete Walker was a mechanic a block from my home and I got to know him as any 15 yr old racing fan would. He was a nice man and politely answered any question I asked. The date escapes me but it was around 79-81. Shangri-la didn't have a retaining wall everywhere and I watched him and another driver crash in turn 2 and Pete left the racing surface. I didn't know until now how tragic that turned out. If my memory is incorrect, please let me know. RIP Pete

Pete Walker passed away an number of years ago.
and Denny McNally ( the guy I used to help) is off to parts unknown.
74' and 75' were good years for me.
