Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Land of Legends hosts the winged warriors of the Empire Super Sprints 360 winged sprint cars!

Along with this talented field of competitors, the GRIT Sportsman Series kicks off it's "Wild West" division with the "Battle of Ontario" (Hoosier tires).

And, last but NEVER least, the might groundpounding BIG BLOCK MODIFIEDS will compete for 40 laps and $3,000! Can Matt Sheppard rebound from a third place finish last Saturday? Will Justin Haers find Victory Lane again? What about the news that T-MAC, Tim McCreadie is joining the field before returning to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series? After his win in the $10,000 Big Show at Albany-Saratoga last night, McCreadie is looking to hone his skill in a big block for possibly hitting more events later in the season!

Adult grandstand admission is $25, with children ages 16-6 $5. Ages 5 and under are free! Gates open at 5pm, with racing at 7pm!

While we are definitely keeping an eye on Mother Nature and her shenanigans, today is RACE DAY at the Land of Legends, Canandaigua Motorsports Park, for Thursday Night Thunder, featuring the 360 winged Empire Super Sprints, the GRIT Hoosier Sportsman series, and the mighty BIG BLOCK MODIFIEDS!

$25 adult grandstand admission gets you names like Hebing, Guererri, Haers, Sheppard, Johnson, Paine, and McCreadie! Children ages 6-16 years are $5! Gates open at 5pm! Pit pass is $40 and there is no age limit in the pits.
