way to go kurtis. looks like they have all most enough benjamins for their own division.
I counted about 66. There was a LM 358 AN IMCA'S there to test. They are thinking of adding them and running Friday an Sunday shows. Part of them 1 day and the rest would be the other.
Clinton County tried that a couple years ago.... They'll go broke quick trying that... With the economy the way it is, fans aren't going to go to the track twice in one weekend..
There is potential there if they do it right. Stick with one night, or stay with Sunday afternoon, less competition that way.
First they need some type of headline division, Late Models or 358's. They ran Late Models in the past, and I know a few guys that would go back if they ran them again.
Second, they have to get some clay on the track for next year LOTS of it!!!
Third, keep the show moving along.... Races should not be held up by teching in the infield after each feature. I'm all for teching, but, have a tech area outside the track. 2 pace laps is plenty before the start of a race, 1 is even better. Don't water the track between hot laps, heats and features. With new clay this won't need to be done.
Was there a 358 modified there? Who was it?
The reason Clinton failed at it was they had a dope for a promoter at the time.

Very True... But, I don't think it would have made any difference. 2 nights in one weekend is cutting your own throat. Now if you had Go karts and micros and stuff like that on one night and stock cars the other, that might not be a bad idea...
brent one of the silvernails were there with there 358 it was the 55 cant think wich silvernail it is though
