I think they should make official announcement they will not be running on the 11th in case someone living under a rock actually shows up.

14 for the regular classes and not sure on how many vintage midgets maybe 8 or so, but at least one came from Vermont and they all got the shaft.

no Ernie no cars and no fans in the stands.  Sad they had some guys in the midgets travel from Vermont and wouldn't let the people there race for tonight.  Plus George hid down at his home and called Jerry to deliver the news.  As for what Jerry said they were done until Fall Brawl.  He said it at the meeting then again when he was refunding the money

Racing Discussion / Legends at Shang II
« on: May 25, 2015, 03:44:29 PM »
The statement that the Legend cars seldom race on a track this large is about to be disproven, as after the event, Track Manager Jerry Sinsebaugh announced that a deal has been reached to host the INEX Legend cars on a twice a month basis for the rest of the season beginning in June. The dates are to be released sometime in the next week.

In case nobody reads the press release.  Hope it goes well and they add them to regular weekly show eventually. They need a fourth division to keep it interesting.

I am not sure how Chemung moving to Saturdays was helping Shang as they claim was motivation for supposed deal.  I was not there and don't know what or if any deal was in fact made.  I will wait and see how it plays out but hopefully both tracks are successful as I just like to watch good racing and two nights is better than one.

Having napkins wouldn't hurt either. Racing was good and a lot of fans went down to look at mods, so not sure too many people unhappy. Disappointing how few racenyers were in picture though. Just sad the season is done.

Someone crashed and died doing the green flag experience. 23 year old young lady I read on Facebook. Not during an actually racing event

I used to go to Wall from early 80s through late 90s and a few times here and there when back in NJ visiting family, always been a good program. Some track owners here in NY should pay it a visit.
