I believe Joie Chitwood even had several starts in the Indy 500. Somewhere along the way he figured out there was a lot easier way to make money than getting killed in a Champ car!!!

Dutch Hoag (1971)...I'm thinking that this is from the Bisci collection and a Renig photo from Lancaster

Is that car of Strosal's one of McClures cars? I assume it is since it's nuber 15 but no other obvious identifiers.

Here's one I took at Langhorne. I think it was 1970 after the race. I didn't write who it was but I think Ray Sitterly used to run a c-88. Can anyone confirm if this is right or wrong?

I shot this one on the infield at Langhorne in 1971. It's the McClure #15. I assume it would have been piloted by Greame Bolia at the time.

Hey!!! Great forum!!!! I'm new to the group. I spent almost the entire 70s at Weedsport Speedway, as a kid. I noticed that the Welty's post here. So here's my first post.

My dad recorded this in 1975 off of some Oswego radio station. It was off a reel to reel and the quality isn't great. I fixed it as much as I could.

Welcome BIG FEET 13. Thanks for the memories of my brother. Here's a pic I snapped as Darrell went out on the track at Syracuse in 1974. This is the Kneisel high-rail car and he qualified for the big show.  DALE
