I have a 72 chevelle chassis with a 8.5 rear end. It is damaged. I want to put a 7.5 rear end in the car. Is this possible?

My car has a skip and I can not seem to figure it out. Changed plugs cap rotor check all the wiring. Timing is right. Changed battery.

I race at canandaguia and I am having a problem with the motor dying out half way down the back straight. The front straight is fine. it seems like the cam gives up at 6500 the car does bot go over 6500 rpm. 1.76 power glide and 342 rear gears. the motor is a chevy 355.

How much of an rpm difference would it be running a 182 power glide rather than the 176. I have 342 gears in rear end

Had a motor knock last time i raced now i went out to start the car knock gone wtf... it sounded like it was upper end. great oil preasure. not sure what it was.

I have a turbo 350 with 373 gears in my car and i run a half mile track. The car only turns 5300 to 5500 rpm in second gear. Can the timing being off cause this problem? I should be turning around 5800 to 6000

Just a quick question. I have 373 gears in the rear end of my car, if i run a turbo 350 the rpm range is 5800 to 6000 i was just wondering if i run the power glide where would that put my range on a half mile track? canidaiqua (sp).
