The track isn't closed. The current promoter and lease holder is just choosing not to run stocks for reasons not pertaining to matters any normal promoter would pay attention to or be encountered with. He is his own enemy. The track will go on after he is gone.

One thing everyone is overlooking; The R.O.C. Mods were to appear for the Tommy & Tony race next Saturday & also the U.S. Open..That is a loss to Mr. Harpell & all the Mods.

Yes a loss BUT,better than having the race and no-one getting paid, and as with the U.S.Open being so late in the season it would be easy for him to screw everyone and not pay them.

I can think of no other speed plant that has the potential for a rebirth and growth like ole LIS.

Needs lots of coin (obviously) and a visionary ownership group ( right again Utica keep it up) but

what a place it could be. Screw Walmart, or exit 48b.  Bring back to life the dump by the dump.  ;D ;D ;D

(thinking************ if we put the LIMM is charge of fund raising  ::)********* how long would it take to come up with 2.3 mill?

( hey Jody...I gotta pull my lap sponsor back from your race...sorry)  ;)     Just kiddin'
"do I look nervous?" (no) " There's your answer."

2.3 million ...hmmm wonder what Oswego sold for a few year's ago ?

Lancaster needs what Oswego got.

Owners, that had the means ($$$) to invest in the place.

A good PR guy big into social media .

Hope ,Lancaster fines the right purchaser and doesn't become a developers new project.

2.3 million?? If I had that money I would buy my boss's country club and have him thrown out of it.
