So incredibly thankful that Vern is going to be ok ~ nothing can replace good safety gear and a solid response plan

We are very happy to report that 350 Supermodified driver Vern LaFave is recovering from the injuries he sustained in last night's accident. LaFave is in good spirits, and told the team at Syracuse.com that he "has to give all the praise to the Oswego fire crew. They are the best in the business and took a real bad situation and did a great job getting things stopped." Our Oswego Speedway family wishes Vern well on his road to recovery. He offered further updates on his condition at the following link:  https://www.syracuse.com/news/2019/06/oswego-speedway-driver-survives-fiery-crash-video.html
