I have been asked several times this week about preregistration for the Slush Crush. My answer is No Preregistration for a few reasons. To keep it fair we draw for starting position, 1 price for driver and car($50) and pit pass for non drivers($25), no by Facebook RSS

Racing Discussion / Re: Nascar Cup Final 4

Love Joe Gibbs but don't care for any of his drivers..... not a huge Harvick fan but he's my choice.

On opening day a caravan of about 250-300 cars leave THE LITTLE SPEED SHOP on Lee Rd in Rochester and drive down to THE GLEN. I have never been able to participate myself however it is quite the sight and they have posted multiple social media videos.  From your everyday driver to some extremely nice and exotic cars.  I recommend checking it out.

Racing Discussion / Re: 2020 NASCAR SCHEDULE -- WOW
« on: March 28, 2019, 10:49:48 AM »
Moving the dates around the way they did are a bit confusing to me as how it will create a "better " race season. I think the big question is how the teams are going to deal with the "ONE" Pocono weekend. How many cars to bring ?  Extra cars or spend the night changing out everything on the one car ?  How many miles on one motor for the weekend ?  Is there a penalty for a swap ??  lots and lots of questions.  For fans... what will ticket prices be for one race or two races ..... ?????   QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS and MORE QUESTIONS.

Racing Discussion / Re: Spencer Speedways Future ?
« on: November 03, 2018, 08:08:12 AM »
Is this a rumor just to start a rumor ??  Rumor or not, I would NOT have a problem with that. Something has to change up there! The Leaty's are a class act and I think would do a fine job if they were willing to undertake that project.

6
I hope the Racing Gods bring good weather. Keeping my fingers crossed !!

7
All the thanks go to you and your team. That was one of the best over all shows in awhile. The stands and the parking lots were FULL !!  Cant wait for next year !

8
The best racing weather yet and the show of the year on the schedule !!!  Lets get out to Spencer Speedway this Friday Night  !!!

9
Weather is looking PERFECT !!!

I hate to say it but the long range forecast looks like the " R " word.  But my hopes are high for success all the way around.

RAIN, RAIN, RAIN.............SUPER STOCKS, 6CYL AND MODS ALL GOT HEATS IN BUT THE RAIN CAME AS THE 4CYL'S WENT TO TAKE THE TRACK.  Mother Nature decided she saw enough racing  and stopped the show.

Racing Discussion / Re: Where Did the Racing Discussion Go on This Site?
« on: August 11, 2017, 12:15:10 PM »
Ok, so lets talk racing...... What are your thoughts about turn 3 at Spencer Speedway ?  What gear should I use in my sport mod at Holland ?  How are the grandstands at Woodhull ? From a fans perspective how is the food and prices at Futon ?   I see and read conversations happening on this website. What should we be talking about ?

Racing Discussion / Re: NASCAR stage racing
« on: August 04, 2017, 07:43:47 AM »
All Stage Racing has done is given more for the TV broadcasters more to talk about. NASCAR has the same issues as the rest of the BIG sports.  Ticket prices are too expensive when you have empty grandstands. The travel costs to attend a race are huge. A lot of race tracks lost their campers when they started to cut up the camp grounds into assigned spots for outrages fees. ECT, ECT, ECT...   But a HUGE issue is how to deal with all the internet access. You need it but it also kills you. I used to be a fan that watched a lot on races on the TV ( back in the day) but two things happened. 1.)  I did loose some interest when they went big business and lost some personalities. 2.) Now I follow the races on my cell phone with automatic updates. I can live my life away from grandstand and still know what's going on. I can see instant video of any incident and even watch portions live on this little rectangular device in my pocket. I don't know what the solution is but it has definitely changed for the worse.
