Dave Wilson is kind of my hero.....

Well ya got me on the name thing. That is my mistake and I do apologize to both parties.

My only point of my post was to defend the track and the series.

3
Its a new series. Its a huge let down for all of us that we did not meet a Ransomville Sportsman driver's standards for a solid field in our first shot. But we will just have to carry on!

Not one broken board in the stands. Same tired old notions made by the same old people that have nothing positive to say. They made improvements in the off season and the place looks nice.

At least you sign your name unlike the other raceny junkies. But your still ignorant.

4
Not for nothing Mr. Spatarico but do you ever have anything positive to say about our asphalt community? I feel like you just use this site to gloat about DIRT to the asphalt guys. Its slightly obnoxious.

Its the first race for a new series. Its also the first week of May and some cars aren't finished.

I had a discussion with George at Bicknells yesterday about the tires and he assured me that it would be no problem if the track decided to switch to a different Hoosier compound for the August events since there is so much time between now and then. Its all the same to him.

Lori could this be a drivers meeting discussion on race day? I'm not suggesting any switches for the upcoming race obviously but we could discuss plans for the two other events.

The m45 wouldn't be a drastic change where it would upset anybody but it would be enough of a change to make for some better racing throughout the race. It would allow and make guys conserve less and race more.

Racing Discussion / Re: EBRP 2013 Stock Car Schedule
« on: April 26, 2013, 04:41:26 AM »
The Summer Slam and the Open Sportsman races have always been par with the best paying races in our region. Let alone they are the only track to have two top paying Sportsman races.

Also they are the only track with enough sack to run some big mod shows.

It would be nice to see more summer shows but the track has to do what it has to do to make money. Its no secret that the stocks aren't where the tracks profit is at so it is what it is. The nay-sayers need to step off there high horse and realize that we as a community of racers and race fans are dwindling! Now the track gives us some big shows and you supposed "race fans" are complaining and making dirt track plans? The track isn't the problem. You are!!! Lack of support = a light schedule. Its economics.

Purses are cut and gate fees are raised to help balance out the loss of revenue from smaller crowds and less cars. Yet the track does nothing but get bashed for it. Its a business. Its very easy to say how the schedule SHOULD look when you are not the one counting support from dummies that do nothing but bash the track on raceny in order to make a profit...

If you care about racing so much then get off Raceny and go support you local racetrack! When you consider a lot of the risks involved with running bigger shows right now in WNY I think a strong argument can be made that this is if anything a very aggressive schedule. With support it can and will grow in the future. Track has to make money on the big shows if we want to see more of them and to do that they need to see support. This is how it works guys. I'm doing my part. 4 big mod shows and two big Sportsman shows to look forward too. I personally cannot wait =)

A HUGEEEEEEE thank you to everyone for coming out and supporting my team today! The turnout was outstanding. Hope everyone had a good time! It has been a hectic couple weeks after the closing of the vfw post but we pulled it off! Big thank you to Avezzano Ristoranti for hosting us and my man John Tedesco for getting us in there on such short notice. Thank you to my mom, Tina M Seger, Jake Jankowiak, Sandy Boczar for all the help and my taco girls Xtine IdowhatIwant and Justine Lyn for everything as well as Tracy Thompson Reilly for the help calling numbers! Tommy Jr. beat out my ringer in the taco eating race! Nacho toughed it out though he has been fighting a stuffy nose and a cold which made breathing complicated. It was still a pleasure to have Mr. Crispe!

What a blast!

Thank you everyone!!

* note that next Sunday's planned beer blast for RJP Motorsports has been postponed until further notice. Grampa Poke wanted me to pass this along.

Tacothusiasm - Over excitement about or for Tacos and Tacos in Bags. This is most commonly caused by Andy Jankowiak's Taco blast which is being held in two days.

I like it. 4 big mod shows and two really good paying Sportsman races. Lets go racing!

What time is it?

Almost tacO'clock.......

Tick' tock' CRUNCH!

Delicious.

OK SO apparently my lovely mother doesn't know her electronics...so when she told me she was donating kindle fires she was actually donating nooks (she still doesn't understand the difference) ....but she made up a bunch of nice shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies SOOOOoo we will forgive her =)

But no worries! I returned the nooks and used the money towards a brand new Kindle Fire that will be up for auction so as not to disappoint =)

Picked up a very nice Black and Decker mini fridge as well....we're going to fill it with booze and raffle that off too! Nice sized fridge might look great in someones racecar trailer or bedroom and the booze is good anywhere!

Ooodles of racing memorabilia, house hold items and electronics will be on hand and the Chinese auctions will be into triple digits!

Taco eat off somewhere between 3-4. Gustavo is prepared to dominate! But he is a bulk eater and this is a taco race...should be interesting but i'm still siding with my ringer to bring home the W.

Big Mod will be on display barring unforeseen set backs. I've been working hard to get it done all week! Painting some more tonight. Vinyl on Saturday!

Woot woot!

14
- Taco eating competition featuring competitive eating champion Gustavo "Nacho" Crispe - 10 dollar buy in - 7 tacos. First man to finish 7 tacos wins the competition. Winner takes one half of the contest entry fee money but if my ringer wins then the money is donated back to the event.

- Race car pinata for the kids! As well a a taco drawing contest on the place mats for the kiddos!

SUNDAY April, 21st

$15 donation at the door =)

Do you like Tacos?
Do you like Tacos in bags?

If you answered yes to either of these questions then Andy Jankowiak's Taco Fiesta Extravaganza Part II is the place for you! Our Mexican themed fundraiser was a smash hit last year and we will be trying our hardest to out do ourselves this year while making the event an entertaining and enjoyable experience for everyone that attends. More details will follow in the coming weeks as plans come together =)

Big Mod on display! (I might even start it)

Food will of course be a "build your own taco" buffet as well as "build your own taco in a bag" along with a plentiful variety of side dishes such as rigatoni, salad, fruit bowl and much more!

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from Kansas on the flat screen.

Were also going to be doing a pinata this year as well as some other activities to go along with our theme. Ideas are brewing...

Our trademark "Fiesta Girls" will be on hand as well featuring my beautiful girlfriend Xtine IdowhatIwant as that star again this year as well as some new "Taco Celebrities" to be named later ;)

Tickets are $15 dollars and can be purchased pre-sale or at the door the day of the event. We will also be holding a 50/50 raffle, prize raffles, Chinese auction and other pools such as NASCAR race pools and card game pools.

All profits from the event go towards funding Andy Jankowiak's racing efforts as he embarks on his first year of Modified racing as well as SST Modified racing, DIRT Sportsman racing and TQ Midget racing.

We are accepting any and all donations for raffle items. Thanks to a lot of generous donations our auctions were fantastic last year. We raffled off over 225 items last year and we're looking to out do ourselves this year!

Pickups can be arranged by contacting Andy J @ 716-830-1305 or 716-604-2857 or just inbox me for a mailing address if need be.

Come on out, have a beer. Always a good time and the support is always appreciated!

On behalf of Jankowiak Motorsports I am very pleased to announce that we have found our location for our upcoming fundraiser! We will be holding the event at:

Avezzano Ristorante
204 Como Park Blvd
Cheektowaga NY 14227

The times and dates will stay the same - April 21st from 1-5

Your 15 dollar donation includes beer, pop and food

Draft beer is free at the bar. The bar will also be having $2 dollar bottle and $2 well drink specials for the event

Please spread the word! Party has moved! We couldn't be any happier with the venue. We're certain that everyone is going to love the place.

A BIG thank you to EVERYONE that pitched in the past few days to help out while we sought out a replacement venue. The VFW threw us for a curve ball but its nice to know my racing family is always there to help me out when I need them =) Thank you again everyone! Especially John Tedesco!!

A big thank you goes out to Micheal and Lexi at the Avezzano Ristorante for making this all happen for us! Very excited about the venue!

More info on the Avezzano Ristorante can be retrieved from their website:

I love the commitment to the Mods. But if we are going Hoosier can I suggest m30 lefts and m45 rights?

Glad to see Woody back in action as well! Nothing could be better for a developing series then some experienced veteran leadership.

For those who haven't heard; it was decided yesterday that VFW 463 would be shut down effective immediately. As you can imagine this is a very unexpected curve ball for my fundraiser plans but I want to reassure everyone without a shadow of a doubt that the event will go on and that tacos will be plentiful.

We are wasting no time in our pursuit of a replacement venue. I have a couple leads that I am following up on and a couple back up plans in mind. But we would like to have as many options to pick from as we can get before we make a final decision. With that being said we will be taking a day or two while we shop around for the best option. Anyone with any suggestions or possible leads is invited to contact me through either my Facebook inbox or my personal cell.

Here are some points to help describe what we are looking for:

- The venue must allow us to bring in our own food (committed to the taco)
- Either supply beer food and pop or allow us to bring in our own stuff (kegger)
- Depew/Lancaster/Cheek location is preferable since it is central to just about everyone
- Bar or hall is ok as long as its roomy enough

My cell number is 716-830-1305

Thank you all for your patience and help while we figure this all out!

20
Yes we will be having a taco eating race featuring a competitive eating champion.

21
Working on some more stuff for the kids this year!! We will have a taco drawing contest on the place mats and a pinata.

This is a family friendly event =)
