Just need tracks and drivers.  Right now, although I can't say anything official yet, I believe we have secured title sponsorship for this series.  We have also put together a sanctioning body for any track that runs this class as part of their weekly program, which will mean that there will be a regional point fund as well.  We will take your top 20 finishes from any sanctioned race or track, and put it into a regional point system.  The details are being finalized, and so far we have several tracks that are very interested.  Get together with your friends and get them into trucks.  The more trucks, the bigger the checks will be at the end of the season.

I can't say what tracks until paperwork has been signed, but they are southern tier tracks, so there won't be any major travel.  We are also offering weekly sanctioning for the truck class, which we would pay the tracks point fund, and as long as we pick up a few weekly tracks, there would be a regional point fund as well, so get all of your friends and pushyour area track promotors to pick the class up.

Dan, the bodies have to be stock, but obviously rust tends to put a hurting on trucks.  You can patch rust holes and rusted out fenders, but I don't want any complete aftermarket bodies.

The website is up, although it isn't totally completed.  www.empiresporttrucks.com

What is the age limit?
Can a 14Yr old run in this class?
I know most tracks allow 14 if both parents sign a waiver.

Can you weld the rear ends?

7) REAR ENDS
a) Any O.E.M. Truck rear end. No quick change device.
b) No 9” Ford rear end.

Is ther a size limit on the tires? And can they be different sizes?

TIRES & WHEELS
a) All wheels must be steel 7” maximum.
b) All wheels must be stock
c) Street Tires on all 4 wheels
d) No softening of tires
e) If tire is illegal you lose all points and money for that night and 100 points from what you have earned so far for the year.
