/"Putting a kibosh on racing is telling us, from a governmental point of view, "no, we do not trust you to be responsible adults."

Hmm, not exactly.  If this were true the governmental point of viewers would put a stop to all the protesters and in fact many of these governmental point of viewers are encouraging and abetting this behavior.  If a protest was scheduled to take place at a racetrack the protest would go on as planned.  Of course we know protesters are immune to "the virus" ;)  The truth is that racing and race fans doesn't fit the narrative, yet the chaos and destruction caused by protesters do.  Isn't it funny(??) how that works*

Did he ruin it or are the times a changing? I think all racing is in trouble. Look at asphalt Mods. Other than Fulton, car counts appear to be down everywhere. How many teams run the full DIRT tour this year? A lot less than last year. I look at it like hunting. Statistically we are in big trouble. Our numbers are not sustainable. There are so many other forms of entertainment that don't require work and $.

So raising the minimum wage will cause inflation...

The CEO of McDonalds tripled his own salary recently, to $14 million.  The price of a Big Mac did not go up a dime.

Huh.

Always extra money for the CEOs but none for the workers.  Limit CEO pay to say 50 times what the average worker salary is in the company.
Bakes, do some math here.  When figuring this include the number of McD's in the USA  X  the number of McD's line employees  X  the average hours of each of these employees  X
the hourly pay increase you want for them and please tell us how it compares with $14 million.  TIA.

Funny, but...

There's more for other states, locales, etc.  Maybe someone should tell Jeff Foxworthy, he might get royalties. 8)

"Measure it by the outcry it has brought."  Are you kidding me?
If Trump said his favorite ice cream flavor was vanilla half of the country would be shouting and/or protesting and/or vandalizing with a cry of "See, see, see, vanilla ice cream?  That figures!  This proves he's a white supremacist and I'll just bet he puts lily white cream in his coffee too!!!"

Thanks for keeping us so informed Way 2 Lo.  You're doing the country a great favor and IMHO you should have received more than one vote for President.

Ok, so lets talk racing...... What are your thoughts about turn 3 at Spencer Speedway ?  What gear should I use in my sport mod at Holland ?  How are the grandstands at Woodhull ? From a fans perspective how is the food and prices at Futon ?   I see and read conversations happening on this website. What should we be talking about ?

It's curved.  I would go with a quick change gear.  The stands are wood.  The food bad and overpriced.  More Danica and cowbell!

Thanks for the cool racing tips, Mr. Pissano.

Question:  Is it a good idea or bad idea to eat sushi or spicy Mexican food immediately before driving a racing car?

I need to know this to settle an argument my brother and I have been having for going on three years now.  He thinks he knows everything...

Sincerely,

You're welcome.  Stay away from the Mexican food.  There are enough debris cautions in racing as it stands.  Yuckie!

Tip of the hat once again to Mr. Pissano for the sage advice!  The man continues to impress and amaze me!  But so do those animal videos on that Facespace site.

This brings up a serious racing question:  "Anyone out there in racecar land ever had a 'nature-takes-its-course-event' while driving in a race that they would like to share with the group?"

About your 'nature-takes-its-course-event' question how about asking Tony Stewart?  Didn't he have an "incident" at Watkins Glen?  And he won the race!
