I always wonder why Outlaw does series with a track so far away, when Woodhull is much closer to Outlaw, runs on opposite nights and has the same classes with the same general rules. Just wish Woodhull and Outlaw would work together more often.

Woodhull was not approached.  Outlaw and Batavia are RUSH sanctioned.  Woodhull inquired for RUSH and did not receive a sanction, but they will follow RUSH rules for 2017.

Woodhull is also offering a $1,000 to win Crate LM show on Opening Night 2017 sponsored by CRS

Tyler was  appoached by Genesee Speedway to put together a mini Late Model series  since they run Friday and Saturday and  both are Rush Santioned ,that makes a perfect fit for both tracks. As far as working with Woodhull ,Tyler appoached Teddy on 2 different occasions about  the  rule package for the modifieds and also doing a combined car show and Teddy declined. Tyler would love to work with Teddy and Woodhull Raceway if Teddy would like to do something.Woodhull seems to work best on their own Island. If you have any good ideas let us know, and Tyler will see if Woodhull is interested.

Not sure how the Modified rules got entered into this thread?

As far as the mall show goes...Arnot Mall offers 43 spots for race cars to be displayed.  Woodhull filled 40 of them this past weekend.  A combined show does not make sense, when Woodhull can fill the spots offered by the mall all on their own.  If it was a combined show, you would be turning away cars that want to participate and that would not be good for the drivers or the fans.

Turn5 just a couple  things here, the point of the conversation was that Outlaw Speedway has reached out to Woodhull to work together. As far as the Mall Show goes, Arnot Mall offers up to 55 spots for race cars to be displayed with an option for more cars to be displayed in empty store fronts. I believe Woodhull only had 28 cars in attendance this past weekend and yes a combined show could work with 30 cars or more from each track. Not a problem; Outlaw will continue to have their own Mall show. Best of luck to Woodhull this year and maybe in the future the 2 tracks can work together for some special events.
