OPEN VS. CRATE 602 SPORTSMAN

Open vs. Crate 602 Sportsman – 35 green-flag laps, $1,500 to win, $125 to start ($15 pre-entry before Oct. 1, $20 after)

Weight:
Sportsman (two-barrel carburetor) with aluminum wheels: 2,450 lbs.
Sportsman (two-barrel carburetor) with steel wheels: 2,400 lbs.
Crate 602 engine with aluminum wheels: 2,350 lbs.
Crate 602 engine with steel wheels: 2,300 lbs.

Rev chip not mandatory on Crate 602 engines.

Tire Information:
Right-Rear: American Racer 38 or harder or DIRTcar Hoosier D200 or harder
Left-Rear: American Racer 33 or harder or DIRTcar Hoosier D200 or harder
Right-Front: American Racer 33 or harder or DIRTcar Hoosier D200 or harder
Left-Front: American Racer 33 or harder or DIRTcar Hoosier D200 or harder

Please note: American Racer 49 compound tire is not permitted; no block-tread tires

No sail panels on Open vs. Crate 602 Sportsman. Traditional windows are mandatory.

Open vs. Crate 602 Sportsman heat lineups will be determined by a draw for position, with a redraw of top qualifiers for the feature.

One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.

Transponders will be used at this event. There are only a limited number available at the track for rental.

 

CRATE 602 SPORTSMAN (Offering GRIT Series Points)

Crate 602 Sportsman (offering GRIT Series points) – 25 green-flag laps, $1,000 to win, $100 to start ($10 pre-entry before Oct. 1, $15 after)

Weight: All Crate 602 Sportsman must weigh a minimum of 2,425 lbs.
*All weights are track scale pounds; weights are taken post-race, with the driver in the car

Right-Rear: American Racer 38 or harder or DIRTcar Hoosier D200 or harder
Left-Rear: American Racer 33 or harder or DIRTcar Hoosier D200 or harder
Right-Front: American Racer 33 or harder or DIRTcar Hoosier D200 or harder
Left-Front: American Racer 33 or harder or DIRTcar Hoosier D200 or harder
