RACING RESUMES ON SATURDAY WITH MAINES DRIVER TRAINING INSTITUTE NIGHT
Racing action returns to Thunder Mountain Speedway this Saturday (August
when Maines Driver Training Institute presents a busy program. Modifieds race for $1,500 to win. Sportsman, Crate 602 Sportsman, Rookie Sportsman, Street Stocks, XCel 600 Modifieds and FWD Four Cylinders will be in action. Additionally, the heldover, rain-postponed Rookie Sportsman and FWD Four Cylinder events from July 25 will be contested (no new entrants permitted, only those on hand for the rained-out event will be allowed to compete in these events).
Maines will be participating in a number of giveaways and other promotions during the night.
Gates open at 4 p.m. Hot laps hit the track at 6:20 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. Adult admission is $12. Students (ages 65 and over) and Students (ages 10-17) pay $10. Kids 9 and under are FREE. Pit admission is $30, with no license required.
