Something Interesting in the Election Campaign
« on: November 01, 2018, 06:40:08 AM »
It was very recently brought to my attention that in many of the televised campaign ads, the candidates are not mentioning their party affiliation. I suppose that on one hand, they're trying to draw attention to their past accomplishments or future goals. OR, depending on your point of view, they're trying to distance themselves from other members of their political party. Personally, if I were a candidate for public office, I wouldn't want to be associated with Schumer, Gillibrand, Pelosi, Waters, etc, either......

Along the lines of this are Republicans who once voted against and to repeal the ACA have now changed their mind and are in support of care for those with pre-existing conditions.
