Does anyone remember the identity of the Late Models in the back ground? Perhaps the Updyke 151? Didn't really pay much attention to the LM's back then and still don't. Couldn't tell you the track Champs even . Probably nobody we ever heard of.

The #151 LM was Bill Updyke. The blue #37 was Jeff Kappesser I believe.  As for the gold LM, it looks to be #48.  I have a '74 Rolling Wheels program that lists the driver of a #48 late model as a Carl Reynolds.  I'm guessing that it was probably a different Carl Reynolds than the one from Scranton who drove modifieds.
