ARCTIC CAT ALL STAR CIRCUIT OF CHAMPIONS 410 SPRINT CAR SERIES RETURN TO OUTLAW SPEEDWAY

TONY STEWART CONFIRMED AS AN ENTRY TO THE SERIES EVENT BEARING HIS NAME

BB/SB Modifieds, Outlaw Speedway American Racer Tire Crate Sportsman Series, the Classy Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders and Decker Farmers Ins. Hobby Stocks round out card of events on Friday, September 14, 2018.

(Dundee, NY)  For the second time in 2018 and third overall in the past two seasons, the Tony Stewart led Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions 410 Sprint Car Series will make its return engagement to the Outlaw Speedway.

In the previous two outings the fans were treated to absolute breath taking sprint car racing on the fast 4/10 of a mile clay oval located at the Yates County speed plant in Dundee, NY and all indications point to the Friday, September 14, 2018 event will be equally as impressive.  In the first event in 2017, Ryan Smith of Kunkletown, Pa. picked up the win holding off the last lap charges of Sammy Swindell and Dan Dietrich.  In the June 2018 event it was again Dietrich putting the pressure on eventual race winner, Paul McMahan who was victorious for the first time in a series event in several years.  Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions regulars like Aaron Reutzel, Carson Macedo, Dave Blaney, Chad Kemenah and Jac Haudenschild will all be at Outlaw Speedway looking for the winner’s share of $5,000.

It has been confirmed by the ownership of the Outlaw Speedway that Tony Stewart will be racing in the September 14, 2018 event at the popular Yates County oval.

With the track points all completed, 2018 Friendly Chrysler Doidge, Jeep, Ram Modified Champion, AJ Slideways, Alan Johnson along with other track regulars like The Hurricane Steve Paine, Super Matt Sheppard, Eric Fisher and Derrick Podsaidlo will all head up a who’s who list of top Big Block/Small Block Modified pilots all looking for the top prize of $2,500 to win.

In Outlaw Speedway American Racer Tire 602 Crate Sportsman Series action all eyes will be on current high point man, Dave Marcuccelli who is perfect thus far in series action by picking up the first four race wins in the seven event series.  Friday, September 14 will make it event number five with series race number six to be run as part of the Fall Nationals on the weekend of September 21 and 22.  Dutch Hoag Triple 7’s weekend in October will wrap up the series point battle.  The current series point standings can be found on the tracks web site.  Marcuccelli will have his hands full with the likes of track regulars Chris Fisher who was just recently crowned the 2018 Sportsman Track Champion, Tommy Collins Jr., Brian Fish, Karl Comfort and Dale Welty.  The winner of the feature event will pocket $1,500.

Also on the card for the Sept. 14 event will find the Classy Street Stocks.  Glen Whritenour, fresh off his 2018 Track Championship will head up a stellar field of track regulars.  With a number of other race venues shut down for the remainder of 2018 it is a sure bet there will be an invasion of outside Street Stocks in addition to the regulars like CJ Guerreri, Jared Hill, Carl Cleveland and Quinn Sutherland all looking for the top prize of $1,000.

The mighty 4 cylinders will also be in action as second generation driver, Adam Austin of Addison, NY will be on hand to compete fresh off his coronation as the 2018 track champion.  Austin will be challenged by a number of track regulars and invaders including the likes of Chris Woodard, Erica Bell, Ray Hyer along with t the father/son duo of Scott Lehman and Scott Lehman Jr.  The 4 cylinders will compete for a winner’s share of $600.

Rounding out the night of events will be the Decker Farmers Insurance Hobby Stock Class.  After recently picking up the 2018 Track Championship, Marc Minutolo will lead the charge of what is arguably the most competitive class at the Outlaw Speedway.  With a stringent set of rules governing the class it puts the emphasis on driver ability and not so much cubic dollars.  Look for Minutolo to be challenged by Jason Clugstone, Jason Eldridge, Aaron Miller, Dennis French and Allison Pierce.  The feature winner will collect a cool $500.

Due to what is expected to be a larger than usual crowd and race cars that will see competition the pit gates will open at 3:00 pm with Pit Admission set at $40.  The Main Grandstand Seating Area will open at 4:30 with Adult Admission set at $28.  Seniors will get in for $26.  As always kids 12 and under are admitted absolutely free.

Free rides on the Outlaw Speedway Monster Truck “Outlaw Crusher” will begin shortly after the main gates open.

Outlaw Speedway also offers free parking and free camping

By popular demand another mouthwatering Chicken BBQ will be available and if that isn’t enough there will be a DJ on hand.
