My nephew lives/lived in Magalia which is about 5 miles from Paradise.  Much of Magalia 45% has been destroyed but his home was not.  His daughter who lived in Paradise was not so fortunate. She lost her home along with her sis in law.  Adding to the misery my nephew will probable be out of work as well.  He works for the water company in Paradise but there's no longer anyone needing water as everything has been destroyed.

No "gaps" will contain these fires when the winds blow as they have in this situation.  Any body who suggest otherwise has little understanding of these firestorms.

Call him "brash" you say?   Ignorant and cruel is more like it....

Along the lines of this are Republicans who once voted against and to repeal the ACA have now changed their mind and are in support of care for those with pre-existing conditions.

Sunny,

I appreciate virtually all your well thought out articulated posts.  That being said help me understand your reasoning behind your belief  Jimmy Z. shouldn't have been allowed to return to the track.   I assume the fire was put out and the car was race-able?  I don't have enough information.  Just because an official said so isn't sufficient enough to prevent Jimmy resuming to race.  Is there a rule that applies to a car where a fire occurred?  Can you can shed some light....?

thanks in advance.
