so I take ALL the fans are paying the big bucks to see just see the modifieds? then I guess everybody can stay home in the other classes cause they don't have any following, then all the tracks should get rid of the other classes and everybody is happy.ya might want to check the stands when they do that.

just talked to a buddy and he was at the race crewing on a car, said the crowd was good, weather was good, the racing was good, the food was good, saw some old friends he hadn't seen in awhile,KT was one of them, said he had a good time, he thought intro's for the drivers was kinda of cool since its not done that often anymore, and was home calling me a 9:30,and we live east of Syracuse by 30 minutes.all that racing and home before midnight or later? are you kidding me. yup, somebody always has to "beach" about something.just don't go next time. pretty friggin simple.

take a look at lake erie modified rules, and look at the suspension rules for the rear.this is what it used to be in imca.there are a lot of cars sitting that cant compete with the current rear suspensions that are used today.the rules that erie has put everybody on, pretty much puts them all on the same level, that may help in getting some more numbers in the car count.i do have to agree, that this class will never be the headliner class like in the midwest and the southwest, that is there headliner class. I know of 3 cars that are less than 20 min. of me that don't run anymore because they aren't competitive with the current rear suspension rules, and the cost to change over to the 4 link is a little pricey.just my thoughts, thanks.

when we go to charlotte for the fall race, that is exactly why we don't watch the mods on the front stretch, its all the dork house racers and the whole "race" is like that, and as far as tapping the guy in front of you to let him know your there is fine,do it on the straits, not going in or coming off,and I mean tap,not dump.

i don't see a problem, your regular track or class is off for the night, and you want to race no big deal, maybe that track ends up with a few more seats filled and racers race someplace that they normally wouldnt,if ya don't,no big deal.

first thoughts and prayers are with the Ward family and friends and team, I have to agree with Legend after watching this video, very good poss. that Tony didn't see him until to late, none of us were in the seat, the blue car almost hit him also from what it looks like. not that it will change anything, but Kevin should have stayed in the car until safety people arrived and the cars had enough time to get slowed down. no sense in bashing, as I said, none of us were in the seat.
