That is a good question. No way to squeeze Saturday show into Sunday. Hopefully Andrew can let everyone know what the alternative schedule would be.

We have a number of contingencies for any rain situation.  That being said...The Oswego forecast does not call for any type of washout type scenario.  Sunday looks great, Saturday is the only day with the "R" word in it and it is only a 30% chance and not an all day set up.

We will certainly keep everyone updated on our schedule.

With any multi day weekend we  have always learned to stick to the schedule in order and take it as it comes.  That being said, IF we lost a portion of Saturday it would likely be made up after the Sunday program.  With a great Sunday forecast we want to keep that schedule intact and go from there.

Sunday would be a lot better situation than coming back on another date.

We set our program up for Saturday and Sunday this year to try and minimize the an extra night of hotel costs while providing the most teams possible for the Sunoco Race of Champions Modified 200.  With a NASCAR Whelen race conflict on Saturday we will be gaining several drivers:  Patrick Emerling, Matt Hirschman, Ryan Preece and Stewart Friesen is also able to compete in a dirt Modified race on Saturday in PA and return on Sunday.

It will be one of our strongest fields in several years.  We plan on running a very timely show on Sunday with the goal of completing the 200 before the sun sets in turn 1.

We will keep everyone up to date...

On Friday we will have registration from 4 to 8 p.m.  The track will be hosting their "Fast Friday" on track private testing beginning at 4 p.m. as well.  The Tiki Bar will be open on Friday with 2 for $5 beers and $1 Hoffman Hot Dogs.

Any weather concerns or questions can be answered directly by phoning either the Oswego Speedway offices at 315-342-0646 or the Race of Champions Offices at 607-775-5555.
