A friend of mine crewed for Dick Fowler, from New Hartford, NY back in the late 60s - early 70s & was wondering if anyone has any current info on Dick.  He ran the Upstate, NY asphalt circuit back then. Any help?

Hi my name is Josh Wilson. I am the grandson of Duane Ellis I saw that yall wrote asking where he and my uncle are. My grandpa passed away it was 7 years ago January 31st after a battle with cancer. Uncle Bud is a co-owner of a Fastener company here in NC and plans on racing when he gets his garage built. He has my grandpas car but has bought another car to race.

I don't know what happened to him or where he is now, but it's kind of funny as I posted yesterday the picture of Jerry Knox and his Strictly Stock #55x circa 1976 on the Shangri-La Speedway profile on facebook. I believe he left asphalt racing and went dirt racing in 1977.

I have seen Chuck Bruce a couple of times over the past few years.  The last time was early last season, He was driving Bobby Wilson's  #18 SST Modified at Wyoming County

"Gentleman" Jack Furman was working for Kodak, at least through the mid-late 80s, and I used to talk to him once in a while, in the cafeteria.

Tim Mangus still lives in Webster, NY and builds engines for drivers like Tony Hanbury and Andy Lewis.
Chris Aman lives in South Carolina and has religion in his life the last time that I spoke with him.
