2018 ROCKET XR1 CHASSIS CERTIFICATE VALUED AT $7,995 TO BE GIVEN AWAY SATURDAY AT LERNERVILLE; SWEENEY RUSH LATE MODEL "SUMMER CHASE" PARTICIPANTS ELIGIBLE

(Pulaski, PA)…The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Series powered by Pace Performance is proud for the second straight year to have Rocket Chassis give away a certificate valued at $7,995 towards the purchase of a 2018 Rocket XR1 Chassis (Stage 2) this Saturday night at Lernerville Speedway!
The 2018 Rocket XR1 certificate will be awarded to one lucky RUSH member driver that qualified and then competed during the Pace Performance "Summer Chase" championship. Drivers qualified for the $10,050 Pace "Summer Chase", which the $3,000 championship was won by Max Blair, by being in the top 10 of RUSH weekly-sanctioned track member points or Sweeney Touring Series points at the end of the weekend of June 25.
The 87 eligible drivers will then receive one chance per every RUSH event they competed at during the "Summer Chase" period which ran from June 29 through September 3 (see qualified drivers below). "Futures Cup" rookie racer, Kyle Murray, competed the most of any driver and has 20 chances. The drawing will be held in victory lane at the completion of the Sweeney Tour feature on Saturday night as part of the ninth annual "Steel City Stampede". Driver does not need to be present to win.
Last year, Jason Genco, who had 16 chances, was chosen as the lucky recipient. Genco's car owners Jason Badgley and J.P. Craig used the $7,500 certificate to purchase a 2017 XR1 Stage 2 Rocket Chassis. Genco had a stellar 2017 season finishing eighth in the Sweeney National Weekly Series Championship and fifth in the Pace "Summer Chase" Championship. Genco won five feature events including four at Eriez Speedway and one at Stateline Speedway, and recorded 19 top 5s and 26 top 10s in 30 starts.

"To be able to again award one of our RUSH racers a certificate valued at $7,995 towards the purchase of a Stage 2 2018 Rocket XR1 chassis simply amazing! Couple that with the fact that Rocket Chassis is the chassis of choice throughout our Series and there is no doubt that RUSH racers from Canada to southern Maryland and everywhere in between will be greatly anticipating this drawing at the grand finale of our season, the "Steel City Stampede'!"
In order to redeem the certificate, a racer must purchase a 2018 Rocket XR1 Chassis, Stage 2 package that is valued at over $24,500, less the $7,995 certificate (see spec sheet
https://www.rushlatemodels.com/RocketGiveaway2017.pdf). The car must be assembled by Rocket Chassis at their place of business in Shinnston, West Virginia. The certificate has no expiration date and is transferable to another eligible 2017 RUSH "Summer Chase" driver if the recipient would choose to do so.
