There was a race. 250 laps. Not enough people. Small car count. Cold as a son-of-pup. fantastic racing.
One of the usual's won. Another guy got second and won the 2017 title.  Glad RaceNY is back.
only site with real racing news.  ;D

I decided not to go, or rather work decided I couldn't attend.  Interested to know from those that did attend, how was the racing, the facility, camping area,  etc.  I followed it on Speed51.com trackside now, and from what they wrote there appeared to a a lot of passing throughout the event.

The facility is great. The pit pass cost was on the high side ($60), I thought, but the racing was great, and the ROC crew did a great job getting us out of there by 9 PM on Sat.....very efficiently run show. It WAS cold, but if you prepared for it, like we did, it wasn't too bad.  I actually got a sunburn on my face. It's a shame that the fans stayed away.  If you've never been to LES, you should plan on attending an ROC show there next year.

It was a very good but cold weekend. The facility was top notch and did provided a lot of GREAT racing !!!!!!  I was talking to one person from the Erie pa. area and he said it was not widely promoted there. He told me he found out about it by accident.  According to this gentleman there are several "very Large" car shows in Erie during the summer and it may help next year to be present at one of them.

Ditto 3x and 94    What a change over past mgmt. running the show! Couldn't have gone better.  What a first rate facility.  Saw Lori Overdorf park behind me, hope she will be able to bring some more interest in the place. The Erie area has a lot things to do as well. We will definitely catch some shows there next year.
