WATKINS GLEN INTERNATIONAL SEEKS FAN AMBASSADORS
Participants will provide support to WGI staff during major events in 2015
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (February 27. 2015) – Watkins Glen International is again in search of passionate and dedicated fans who are interested in becoming part of the WGI family as ‘Fan Ambassadors’.
The Fan Ambassador program, launched in 2011, provides fans with the unique opportunity to show their support of the legendary road course. Participants have the chance to experience a behind-the-scenes look at events held at The Glen during the 2015 season while sharing their enthusiasm with fellow fans during event weekends.
Fan Ambassadors will provide support to the WGI staff in a variety of roles and handle a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to: escorting corporate partners and VIP guests on garage and pit tours, greeting guests, aiding pace car ride participants, assisting with pre- and post-race ceremonies, and providing support in The Glen Club and other hospitality areas.
This program provides the best opportunity for fans to become part of the fun and excitement during every event weekend at Watkins Glen International.
Watkins Glen International is seeking Fan Ambassadors throughout the summer for a multitude of different events, including the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen IMSA weekend, June 25-28; the Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey’s Fancy New York’s Artisan Cheese, July 10-12; the Glenora Wine Cellars US Vintage Grand Prix presented by Welliver, July 24-26; and the Cheez-It™ 355 at The Glen NASCAR weekend, August 6-9.
