Just 30 days until the running of the Bullring Bash at Lee USA Speedway, on Sunday, May 17 - the first of the Tri Track Modified Series. This is also the first of two races ( Monadnock being the other) that the Racing Guys and the Long Island Mod Maniac are renting out the facility to make the show possible.

If you decide to come and spend the weekend, there is racing down the road at Star Speedway the night before.

Many hotels in the Dover NH area, but also a Red Roof Inn in Salem NH and Loudon NH. There's also a small motel located between the two tracks ( the Pondside Motel)

Make your plans now to see 50 modifieds attempt to qualify for a feature race paying out over $35,000.. And a B feature that is now paying out close to $12,000.

$25 for general admission/ $35 for pits

Dunleavy's Truck & Trailer Repair has stepped up once again.

Originally agreeing to sponsoring the lap leader $20 per lap at Lee, Monadnock, and Seekonk, Dunleavy's Truck & Trailer Repair will now do the same for the B feature at Lee Speedway on May 17.

To top it off, the Dunleavy's Truck & Trailer Repair "Race to the Front" bonus will now be doubled at the first race of the series!!! Yes, that's right!! The leader of each lap in the 100 lap feature and the 25 lap B feature at Lee USA Speedway will take home $40 per lap.

This extra money means the winner of the 100 lap feature could possibly take home $9000 if he leads all laps, and the B feature winner could now take home $2000 if he does the same. On top of this, race promoter Jim Schaefer has promised to write a $5000 bonus check to the winner if he gets crowd support with 3000 paying adults at the front/back gates combined.

1.  $1000
2.  $800
3.  $750
4.  $700
5.  $650
6.  $600
7.  $550
8.  $500
9.  $475

Positions 11-28 will now pay $300 each

If we manage to get 2000 paying adults in the front/ back gate, we plan to raise the payout to $ 500 to start.

Heard some rumblings at Chemung that maybe 1 or 2 more ROC teams will venture down to the Lee NH Speedway for the big paying May 17 Tri Track race. Though the deadline for entering the series for point fund purposes is long gone, teams can certainly enter race to race, right up to the day of the race. You can also contact me at js8x@aol.com for more details.

Can't wait. I've been looking forward to this since the checkered flag at Seekonk last year. Weather forecast looks good too

Hey Hoosierdope, I just read where this will be the last year for this lucrative series. Promoter, Jim Schaefer cites the overwhelming negativity.

Wonder where he gets that from?

Hope you're happy now, A$$HOLE.............................kt
2020: New Smyrna (5)...Sebring...Penn Can...Mahoning Valley(2)...Lernerville...Lake Erie (4)...Chemung...Lancaster...

Actually, it's probably only 1 percent negative.. but when you put in your time, money and heart into this, sometimes that's all it takes.

But, the positive is that this weekend, we are going to give away some big money to the teams that want to be there and hopefully entertain the fans that also want to be there.

So, come out if you can.. I know it's a long way from upstate NY, but if the weather stays decent, might be worth the trip

Really too early to talk weather, but of course watching it every day and different reports from different sources. Saturday looks like there could be a shower or two, but weather.gov says Sunday looks good. I'll be watching it.

Same for me as phredo...I'll be at Bear Ridge Saturday night since I am the track photographer there and Sunday I will be part of the broadcast crew at LEE. Go and see the Bullring Bash LIVE, certainly DON'T stay home just to listen to me and my partners, but if you can't attend  listen in at www.victorylaneradio.com for a live broadcast.

I REALLY want to be able to say that the winner gets an extra 5,000.00 because paid attendance topped 3,000...
